Parade of the International Alphorn Festival cancelled

Due to the risk of thunderstorms, the parade of the International Alphorn Festival scheduled for this evening at 7.00 pm has been cancelled. Folk entertainment will continue in the festival tent.
After reviewing the latest weather forecasts, the organising committee has decided to cancel the parade scheduled for 7.00 pm this Saturday.
Weather models indicate a risk of thunderstorms between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm. Although the exact timing and intensity remain uncertain, conditions do not allow the parade to be held safely.
This decision has been made to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals, participating groups, alphorn players, guests and spectators.
The programme will continue with ongoing folk entertainment in the festival tent until 10.30 pm.
We sincerely thank all participants and visitors for their understanding.
The folk programme on Sunday at Tracouet will go ahead as planned. As mountain weather can change quickly, we recommend dressing warmly.
